I've just finish reading some of the band-ers blogs.

And I thought about my journey in band. It's amazing. We've been thus far. It has been so long. I can still remember when I was in Sec One, I was dragged to the band room by I-can't-remember-who. Then I saw them performing and decided hey, I should join band. And so I did.

Practices were tough. And at a point, I really dreaded band so much. I didn't feel like going for practices AT ALL.

Then, as SYF drew near, I stared enjoying band. Of course, being in the ex-co played a part.
SYF came and went.. And Mr Chong went too. I was sad, cos I like him though many others didn't. He was one lame instructor.. Heh.

Then Mr Sim came. I felt a sense of awkwardness. Cos I didn't know him as well as I knew Mr Chong, but then, gradually, I accepted the fact that he is our new instructor. And of course, I begin to respect him. His patience is amazing. And his devotion to band. He improved the band so much. And all our members respect him.

Now, after our 1st performance, all I can say is, Mr Sim is really a miracle to KCB.

Without him, the whole school will still be prejudiced against us.
Without him, we'll still have crap attendance.
Without him, we wouldn't be what we are today.

Very soon, I'll be leaving the band, but I'll definitely be in the Alumni. No matter what.

And I really really really want to say this from the bottom of my heart.

THANK YOU, MR SIM.

If we can, then we must. If we must, then we will.

WE ARE THE BEST.

I love KCB. Now. Forever. (:
