Holidays are here and almost up, I haven't touched anything at all. ): Been going to my granduncle's wake these few days. Will be heading down later again.
The last wake I've been to was my fav aunt's, like six years ago. I'm definitely not complaining. The atmosphere's different, like cos my granduncle died of old age and for my fav aunt, it was a sudden kinda thing. Somehow I think it's through sad things like this that families grow closer and get to know each other better.
Like me, Hey, I never knew I had a Captain pilot for an uncle till yesterday! Cool thing. Oh well. It's sad though, that we always learn to cherish those around us only when something happens. Rest in peace, granduncle.

Slumbered at Val's house last Friday, a long time ago, yes I know. Had loads of fun with Mal cooking Guo Tie and Rosti for us, and moi making chocolate fondue for the peeps! I think it's the only meal I know how to prepare, except for maggi mee and eggs. Unlike Mal! Our chef in the making! Heh.
Mal stayed over too and we three had a loooooooong chat. Reminiscing how things were and everything that happened in our secondary school days. I wouldn't say it was entirely fun, but definitely interesting. And when asked if we were to turn back time will we still choose to do those silly things that we did, I'd say yes, cos through that we become what we are today. Got quite upset and all thinking bout the past, but yes, it is the PAST. Reality check, we gotta move on. (:
