Revive Wellness

After reading the reviews from a few bloggers that I always read, I decided to go for my first ever waxing session at Revive Wellness last week. I've always wanted to try waxing because it seems so much cleaner and hygienic than regular shaving.

I saw Revive Wellness having a deal at Deal.com.sg so of course, I took the chance to give it a try! :) Note that this is just a personal review cos I bought the deal myself. I'm no where up there to be sponsored anyway! Hahaha :)

I went for their Brazilian Waxing + Whitening Treatment. I was pretty nervous when I first reached there but the staff there are all so friendly and welcoming! I was first greeted and serve a cup of rose tea which was great and relaxing. :)

Then my therapist (I didn't get her name though :( ) led me to the room and kept talking to me to keep me relaxed. Of course, there was the whole washing up and changing into their pretty Kimono thing, just like the bloggers mentioned. :)

It wasn't as awkward as I thought. The therapist was professional and gave a lot of advice, the main one being, STOP SHAVING. Because shaving causes in-grown hair which may lead to infections, and also causes the hair to grow back thicker.

I think I have a pretty high threshold for pain and I would rate it probably a 5/10? I personally feel that eyebrow threading is more painful HAHA. But I would say, the pain is totally worth it. TOTALLY!

I think everyone should just go for waxing instead of shaving because I can't emphasize how clean and fuss-free it is! The whole experience was great and I'd definitely head back there again. :)
