Life goes on

One of the shittiest things in life is having to give up.

You know those articles online that go "You wouldn't give up if you love him/her enough"?
Pure utter bullshit to me.

One day when reality hits you in the face you will come to learn that loving someone is never enough. There will be issues arising that you find unable to compromise. E.g. Having kids? Sure how about let's have half a kid since I want one and you don't. We can definitely work through that.

..........I think I have this in-built sarcasm mechanism in me that kicks in whenever I refuse to show that I'm sad. Hah.

As the title says, life goes on. All you can look is look back every once in a while and feel the little ache in your heart. And tell yourself that it's for the best. Because you know it is.
